Sustainability is at the heart of our investment culture. We believe that over a longer-term perspective, the financial returns on sustainable investments are at least comparable to those on conventional, shorter-term private equity transactions. We exclusively invest in portfolio companies and differ from most other financial investors by the fact that we do not intend to sell our portfolio companies once we have completed an acquisition.

For every investment target we set up an individual team of senior business managers with hands-on experience in assessing how to best maximise the operational performance of the business. This team guides the portfolio company through all aspects of its corporate restructuring process: From initial status analysis and crisis management, to balance sheet refinancing and business reengineering to value chain optimizing and strategic planning.
